ENGINEERING AND MAINTENANCE

PT SGI holds an extensive current and approved Operations and Maintenance Manuals compliant with Part 135 of the Indonesian CASR which allows maintenance on all our machines currently being operated. Our highly trained engineering team have gained valuable experience in maintaining helicopters in various challenging and remote environments, in countries such as Australia, Papua New Guinea, and several Asian and African countries. All aircraft in the fleet are maintained to the manufacturers’ and PT SGI’s strict standards. Our aircraft maintenance are tracked on PT SGI’s modern, state of the art, computerized maintenance planning system Magic, which in turn constantly monitors and tracks the performance of the aircraft, as well as maintains and update aircraft component status.

This 7-seat Bell 206L3 is one of the most used helicopters in the world. It is powered by an Allison Model 250-C30P gas turboshaft engine with a takeoff rating of 650shp giving it a speed of 114 knots and a range of 357nm at maximum weight and 5,000ft pressure altitude. This aircraft offers a considerable increase in payload and improved comfort over the previous series of Long ranger helicopters.
